As CEO of VisualDNA Russia, Anna Skaya is responsible for the company’s business in this country. With Russia’s internet economy undergoing rapid growth, VisualDNA’s Russian office opened in 2012 to capitalise on the growing demand for third-party data in financial solutions, e-commerce and targeted advertising. With 45 million consumers profiled in Russia, VisualDNA is now one of the country’s leading data providers. She joined VisualDNA in 2012 after two and a half years at daily deal site Groupon, where she had been appointed CEO for Russia after a successful stint as head of sales in the UK. Prior to Groupon, Anna spent three years at social data company Bazaarvoice, initially as a community manager, later heading up the sales team, as the Austin-based company expanded into Europe. Before Bazaarvoice, Anna was a producer at digital agencies The Famous Group and Hornet Inc.
