Pytup

December 4, Belgrade
offline and online
Registration is closed

Pytup — a meetup for the Python community and ML engineers.

Join us offline in Belgrade or online to discuss Python, machine learning, and — most importantly — what has changed in the language, its ecosystem, and the community in 2025.

We’ve brought together four experienced speakers from different companies to talk about the key updates and trends. The program includes a roundtable discussion and a Q&A session with your questions. And afterwards — informal networking and an afterparty.

Speakers

Stanislav Zmiev

Head of Engineering

Sema

Stanislav has been working in development for more than 10 years. He primarily focuses on DevTools and optimizing engineering workflows. Stanislav is the creator of Cadwyn, one of the most powerful open-source API versioning frameworks powering Airflow 3.0, and a CPython contributor. Stanislav enjoys attending conferences and giving talks, especially when he has the opportunity to explain why “everything should be done differently”.
Alexander Shadchin

Lead Developer of Sandbox

Yandex

Alexander has been in software development for more than 20 years. He is passionate about Python. Alexander has contributed to open-source projects (OpenBSD, X.Org), as well as to CPython and Python packages. For the past eight years, he has been working at Yandex. In his spare time, Alexander maintains Python packages and keeps Python itself up to date in the company’s monorepo.
Alex Zverianskii

MLE / Co-organiser

Martian / Python Belgrade

Alex has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and Python-based machine learning, helping businesses with monthly active users ranging from 200,000 to 100 million. He loves asking “why”. For the past couple of years, Alex has been helping organize the Python Belgrade community.
Nikita Besshaposhnikov

Independent Python expert

Nikita has over 14 years of development experience. He has developed AI assistant services, platform-level IaC solutions, and a Python framework used by over 400 internal Yandex services. Nikita strongly believes that every task has its ideal language and that, if “prepared right”, Python is just as capable as any other language.
